Clear Touch recorded for Micmac Records, and “Surrender (Your Love)” arrived in 1990 as catalog number MIC-554, a 12″ carrying radio, club, and dub mixes. The record became one of the label’s signature releases of that year and a staple of New York and Chicago dance radio mix shows.
“Fallen Angel” and “Missing You” followed on Micmac, and the label later collected the group’s work on a deluxe edition in 1995. The records sit squarely in Micmac’s house style: melodic freestyle with big keyboard hooks, built for the 12″ format.
“Surrender Your Love” remains the calling card, anthologized across the Micmac compilation series and still in rotation on freestyle programming. It appears on this site’s Top 100 by Spotify play data.
