Face released “Forever Yours” on Micmac Records in 1991, a 12″ issued with club, extended, dub, and acapella mixes in the label’s standard configuration for the era.
The record found its audience in the clubs and mix shows rather than on the charts, which describes a large share of the freestyle catalog now most prized by collectors. Discogs traders and freestyle DJs have kept “Forever Yours” in circulation for three decades.
Micmac’s roster ran deep past its stars, and Face belongs to that deeper bench: one strong single, pressed on vinyl, remembered by the audience that was actually on the floor. “Forever Yours” holds its place on this site on those terms.
