Originally formed in 1984 in Miami, Florida, the group initially included Laurie Miller, Alejandra Lorenzo, and Sandra Casañas (Sandeé); however, the lineup that achieved mainstream success consisted of Jeanette Jurado, Ann Curless, and Gioia Bruno.
