Dreamin’ – Will To Power
The original 12″ version of Dreamin’ by Will To Power
Will to Power is an American pop/dance music group founded in Miami in the mid-1980s by producer and DJ Bob Rosenberg. They initially drew on South Florida’s emerging freestyle and dance-pop scenes but gained mainstream fame with their 1988 #1 Billboard Hot 100 hit “Baby, I Love Your Way/Freebird Medley (Free Baby),” which blended classic rock ballads into a freestyle-influenced pop track. They followed up with other charting singles like “Say It’s Gonna Rain” (a club hit) and a cover of 10cc’s “I’m Not in Love,” which also reached the Top 10. Despite personnel changes over time, Rosenberg has continued to record and perform under the Will to Power name, and their hybrid style of freestyle, pop, and classic rock adaptations remains notable in late-1980s music retrospectives.
